2020 is the year of esports, with the scene massively growing now is the time to be at the front of the pack. We have been working hard to ensure nerdRage is a dominant force this year, to grow and acquire new partnerships and to show what the UK has to offer the gaming world.
To help us on this quest nerdRage have partnered with Chetz Esports to create a stronger brand using both the organisations resource to the maximum potential. Through this partnership nerdRage will acquire the ownership of the Chetz CSGO roster, currently competing in the ESL Premiership Series showing their true strength and ability of being one of the strongest UK teams. We believe with the additional benefits nerdRage can bring to the roster, they will soon flourish into a top competing European roster.
The CSGO roster to represent the nerdRage brand will be:
- Jack ‘Br0die’ Emmott
- Linus ‘LNZ’ Holtäng
- Javier ‘Ping’ Griffiths
- Fraser ‘Frazehh’ Sollom
- Kirk ‘Tadpole’ Stephens
- Mikael ‘SheddaN’ Mellstrom (Coach)
On top of the team acquisition the CEO of Chetz Matt ‘Kologne’ Penney will also be transferring to nerdRage; assisting in the management and direction of the brand going forwards. This will involve a slight restructure of the management at Chetz to ensure operations continue smoothly which will be announced by them shortly. We are very excited to bring Matt into the team here and have already started working hard on ensuring nerdRage’s success.
I’m very happy that Nerdrage have brought me onboard as we both hold similar philosophies and I’m certain that pooling all of our resources together we will be at the top in no time at all.Matt ‘Kologne’ Penney
We have a very busy year ahead and we hope you look forward to seeing our top competing teams play over the next few months, with both the CSGO and recently announced Dota2 team holding top positions in the EPS Spring Series.
Keep up to date with the latest activity from all of our teams over on the nerdRage social channels.
